Tithe Barn flyerDear all,

I am writing to you to see if you are able to help us to find a way to look after the Tudor Tithe Barn at Landbeach (a Grade II Listed Building) so that it has a long-term purpose.  For the last forty years, the barn has been leased to the Landbeach Society by South Cambridgeshire District Council.

The barn now needs some repairs including re-thatching,  and has not been used for a long time.  The barn is an important building and needs to have a secure future.  This may be through redevelopment as a home, but first, at this workshop we want to explore the potential for community-based uses and fund-raising options.

If you are an individual or a representative of a community group etc. please come along to our seminar and workshop on the 30 June 2014 ( details attached) to learn more about the barn and join discussions to find a future use for the barn, which can be enjoyed by the local community.

If you cannot make the afternoon session - please come along to the walk and/or drop-in session at the barn.

Your help is greatly appreciated and hopefully we can restore and enhance this wonderful heritage barn for all to enjoy!

If you'd like to join a new trust looking after the barn - please let us know, too.
