All Saints’ has a lending library of Christian books (in a bookcase on the left just inside the main door) for anyone to use.

A number of local churches have had the lead stolen from their roofs in recent months. All Saints’ Church now has an alarm system fitted with the aid of a grant of £1,000 provided by Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust (CamHCT). If you hear the alarm, or see a vehicle or someone with a wheelbarrow acting suspiciously near the church, please call 999.

The Trust offers grants and loans to help congregations look after their historic places of worship. Its main source of income is the annual "Ride, Drive and Stride". Each September sponsored cyclists, motorists and walkers visit churches, chapels, and colleges throughout Cambridgeshire, sharing the money raised between the Trust and their local church.

Details of the Trust's work can be found at www.camhct.uk.

A GARDEN PARTY will be held at All Saints’ on Saturday 15 July 2017, from 2.30 to 5 pm.

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy Afternoon Tea in the Churchyard. There will be an Art Display, Cake Stall, Book Stall, and the chance to try bell ringing, and to play the Organ. Music will also be provided by the duo Caddenza.

Proceeds towards the planned new SERVERY in the Church.

We are working with our church architect to deal with the problem of damp at the west end of the building, initially by removing the crumbling internal plaster and external hard cement surface in the northwest corner, and replacing both with lime-based materials. At
the same time the impermeable tiles on the floor of this corner will be replaced with breathable flooring to combat the damp rising from underneath. When this is done we plan to add a central sink and servery unit on the new floor, with water, drainage and electricity.

Fund-raising has started!
