Future Developments

A10 Virtual Exhibition  The Virtual Exhibition has now closed. The Parish Council has submitted comments reflecting the feedback from parishioners. The most favoured option is Option G, improving the junctions. Once the Strategic Outline Business Case has been published (end of July?) there will be further assessment of the options. The resultant shortlist, subject to funding approval, will then be presented in a Public Consultation later this year.

Anglian Water’s Cambridge Waste Water Treatment Plant relocation – The first phase of Community consultation will take place from 8 July until 19 August. Please comment at You can access the virtual exhibition and interactive map where you can provide your feedback via the website or Freephone 08081961661. There are three possible sites: Horningsea, near the Park & Ride at Milton and a third one nearer to Landbeach. Moving the plant will enable the site south of the A14 down to Cambridge North Station to be developed. There will be full public consultation later in the year.

Cambridge Police Station – The Police Station relocation from Parkside to the A10 beside Milton P&R is also going out to consultation this month. The plans are slightly reduced from a year ago with fewer car parking spaces and more cycle parking. Any comments go to

Great British September Clean – 11-17 September 2020 – The Parish Council are carrying out a litter pick on 11 September and are asking for volunteers to help. Please meet at 5.30 p.m., in the Car Park at the Village Hall.

Future Meetings – The next Parish Council meeting will be held through Zoom on Monday 10 August at 7.30 p.m. If you would like to join this meeting, please contact the Clerk.
