Greater Anglia is planning a clean-up of the Cyclepoint at Cambridge Central Station.
They will tag bikes from 15 October, to advise owners, then after 15 days, if they appear to be abandoned, bikes will be removed while the deep clean is being done.
Bus Service – The bus timetable had been revised in July and very few buses come through Landbeach. This has an effect on people who are unable to drive.
The proposed waste incinerator to the north of Landbeach has been refused planning permission by the County Council. The plan was also opposed by the local MP, Lucy Frazer.

The venue for the Planning Committee meeting on Monday 17 September 2018 at 10am, to discuss the planned waste incinerator, has changed to the Council Chamber, Shire Hall, Castle Street, Cambridge, CB3 0AP. This meeting will no longer take place at Cambourne.
Friends of Worts Meadow are holding a series of events on Friday 13 July and Saturday 14 July.
A drop-in meeting is being held on Wednesday 16 May 2018, 4pm-8pm, in the Village Hall, about the proposed incinerator. County Council and Environment Agency representatives will be in attendance to explain the planning process now in progress for the Amey incinerator proposal.
